At the beginning of this year 2019, GTT has received an order from the Korean shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) for the tank design of two new 174,000 cubed metres liquefied natural gas carriers (LNGC), on behalf of the Japanese ship-owner NYK.
The tanks of these units will be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system. The vessels' deliveries are scheduled between the third and the fourth quarters of 2021.
